J1939 Cab Switch Interface Controller
Bridge Digital Cabin Signals to Real ECM Control

Control Switch
The INPRONIC Control Switch is a J1939 CAN-based interface module designed to convert digital cab switch data into reliable, opto-isolated low-side outputs for modern engine control systems.
Built for electronically controlled engines (Cummins, Volvo, CAT and others), this unit reads J1939 CAN messages from the cabin and activates the appropriate ground-controlled signals required by the Engine Control Module (ECM)
Designed for reliable J1939-based engine control integration.

What is the Control Switch module used for?
The Control Switch is a J1939-based Cab Switch Interface Controller designed to monitor digital cabin switch data and convert it into clean, ground-activated (low-side) outputs required by modern engine ECMs.
It bridges digital J1939 switch communication with physical ECM control inputs.
Are the outputs electrically isolated?
Yes.
Each channel is opto-isolated to protect:
- The engine ECM
- The CAN network
- The cabin electronics
- The vehicle wiring harness
This prevents noise, voltage spikes, and fault propagation.
What voltage does the module operate on?
The Control Switch operates on12V to 24V systems, making it suitable for heavy-duty trucks, buses, and industrial applications.
Does it modify J1939 CAN messages?
No.
The device reads and interprets J1939 messages but does not alter network traffic. It applies rule-based logic internally to activate physical outputs.
